A new pope has been elected at the vatican, Pope Leo XIV. The first U.S. born Pope (he also has Peruvian citizenship). Pope Leo has done missionary work in Peru, and has served decades within the church.

Former President Joe Biden has been diagnoised with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. It has spread to his bones. They are evaluating treatment options and determining the best course of action to take.
