As many of you know, March is Women's History Month. Read the newsletter below to learn what the 2026 history month theme is, what the meaning behind that theme is, and ways to engage in Women's History Month. Gender discrimination continues to be on the rise in the U.S. I encourage you all to participate however you can this month, and to support ALL women by continuing to advocate for things like accessible voting, supporting women-owned businesses, and educating yourself on women's history and current issues!

War in Iran

On February 28th, 2026, the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran. President Trump did NOT have congressional approval to do so. Tensions and conflict continue to rise between the countries. Thousands of Iranian citizens have been murdered.

ICE in Airports

Currently, TSA agents are not being paid for the work they are doing. In exchange, ICE agents have been sent to airports "to help TSA with security." However,  Americans are fearful of ICE being in the airport and need to know how to protect themselves.

Autism Acceptance Month

April is Autism Acceptance Month! Originally called Autism Awareness month, this is a time to recognize and appreciate the talents, contributions and diveristy within the autism community and how autistic deserve full inclusion and respect.
